What am I up to?

Started a software engineer internship at CREOL - one of the nation's leading photonics and optics research center. Diving deeper into software engineering research, exploring new methodologies for camera API interception. Built my first bike!

Finally received my Greencard - excited to get started with my career :). Time to begin interviews and recruiting. Finished Todd Solondz's filmography; so great, my favorite was definitely Storytelling (2001).

Started the new year with a focus on ownership of a research thrust - proving video provenance. Also picked up some new books on urban design, Cities for People by Jan Gehl is great.

Wrapped up the semester and built a few small projects over the break, including some tooling experiments for my homelab. Took time to rest and watch a looooot of films.

Deep into research work - wrapping up my first research full research thrust. I implemented a custom partially homomorphic encyrption algorithm to speed up development iteration. I finished David Lynch's filmography - ending it with Fire Walk With Me alongside a Twin Peaks rewatch. My hot take it that Mr. C is a representation of Dale's true self.

Started the first AMD-funded student software engineering project at the University of Central Florida. A.I.V.A. is an agent-driven framework for automating hardware verification test-benches. Hosted my 5th workshop of the semester - Introduction to Autonomous Vehicle Development - with an attendance of 60 people!
